Long-time resident Gary is the self-proclaimed green thumb garden master at Village Concepts of Bothell-Riverside East. Every Spring he heads to the nursery to choose the most beautiful plants and flowers he can find to enhance our community! Gary enlisted some help this year from his good friend Rick, who is also his table-mate. They planted fresh herbs in our herb garden, added new flowers to our flower beds, and hung all our beautiful hanging basket annuals.
Gary shared that he looks forward to gardening at Riverside East every spring as it is something he holds dear to his heart. He and his late wife Shirley enjoyed gardening together during their 65 years of marriage. We are so grateful to support our residents’ passions and help honor their memories.
