Barbara, our Administrative Assistant, has always had an imaginative and artistic side. She is full of creative ideas and comes up with monthly arts and crafts projects with residents at Village Concepts of Marysville ~ Grandview Village.
This month, residents enjoyed decorating books and journals, and they turned out just lovely. A special way to showcase creative writing, journaling, or poetry. We designed this craft to coincide with our upcoming Haiku class that will be led by volunteer, Gary Evans.
We can’t wait to have a poetry reading with staff and residents and celebrate our imaginations and original uniqueness. This will be a perfect way to celebrate national Haiku Day. Who needs Pintrest, when you have Barbara and Gary, and a bit of our own creativity and artistic flare?!
