Spiritwood at Pine Lake celebrated International Waffle Day by holding cooking demonstrations in both the main and memory care dining rooms! Led by Executive Director Brenda and Memory Care Activity Coordinator Lena, residents learned how to make the perfect batter, how to evenly apply it to the waffle iron, and how to add toppings that are both delicious and lovely to look at. Residents raved about their waffles, with some coming back for seconds! Staff got to enjoy the celebration as well, and everyone enjoyed sharing a sweet treat.
