Residents at Village Concepts of Fairwood recently embarked on a delightful journey to Germany without ever leaving home, as they celebrated the world-famous Oktoberfest! The day was packed with lively entertainment and delicious treats, offering everyone a true taste of German culture.
The festivities kicked off with a traditional accordion player, filling the air with upbeat tunes that perfectly captured the spirit. Residents clapped along, immersed in the festive atmosphere.
No Oktoberfest would be complete without beer tasting and food - and our event featured an array of German brews for everyone to enjoy. Residents were treated to a mouthwatering authentic bratwurst meal, served with all the classic sides like sauerkraut and warm pretzels. The hearty meal was the perfect complement to the day's activities.
As glasses clinked and voices raised in joyful cheers of “Prost!”, it was clear that everyone had embraced the fun and camaraderie of the occasion.
