It was a perfect sunny fall day for a visit to the pumpkin patch. The air was crisp, the fields glowed orange. For some, it had been over a decade since their last visit to a pumpkin patch, making the experience feel extra special. They wandered between rows of pumpkins, reminiscing about past autumn carefully picking their favorites. By the end of the afternoon, everyone returned home with full hearts, big smiles, and pumpkins that were just as unique as each of them.
Our Memory Care residents also spent a joyful fall afternoon at the pumpkin patch, picking out the perfect pumpkins under bright autumn skies. Back home, the fun continued as residents rolled up their sleeves to carve their pumpkins. The tables were full of chatter, creativity, and a little friendly competition to see whose pumpkin would be the silliest or scariest. It was a day full of simple joys, sweet memories, and the true spirit of fall.
