The laughter of these two best friends often rings throughout the halls of Riverside East. They participate in almost every activity, make full use of the senior center next door, and enjoy constant visits from their families.
One evening, our Executive Director, Maria, came looking for one of them and couldn't find her. "As I suspected, she was in her best friend's apartment and I could hear their laughter from outside the door!"
When she entered, she found them lounging on the couch, drinking wine from coffee mugs, and discussing life. They invited her to stay and join the conversation, sharing wonderful stories about their husbands. It’s a perfect reminder that friends truly do make the best neighbors – and in this case, best friends make the best neighbors!
