Every October our residents at EL Dorado West look forward to our Halloween party that turns into something magical. Not just the kind of magic that comes from cobweb decorations or candy corn, but the kind that brings the community together for a celebration. This year's Halloween party was circled in red on everyone's calendar. The bistro area transformed into a spooky wonderland with costumes to make you laugh. Manuela, the one and only kitty cat in the community, donned her kitty costume at 8:00 am in anticipation for our community celebration. Edgar, our El Dorado cowboy along with Jennifer, our front desk cowgirl represented, as Jabria the Activity Director showed off her cow costume while leading the festivities. Elva, our lead server, humored everyone with her "Spice Girl" costume, taping spices onto her sweater.

As dusk fell, the doors of El Dorado opened to the community for trick-or-treating. Parents and little ones paraded in to receive candy from our residents. Residents enjoyed conversation and giggles as they adored each little one that showed off their costumes. The "Haunted House" drink with cider was enjoyed by all and mummy dogs, Frankenstein treats and other goodies were shared among the community. The magic was in the air here at El Dorado for another amazing community celebration. Thank you all!
