Every year the Executive Director at Harbor Tower Village auditions for a play at Whidbey Playhouse. When she is cast, it gives an opportunity for an outing with the residents and their families to go see a performance with someone they know in the cast. In September, 42 people attended to see Executive Director Katie perform as the star of the show, "Chris" in Calendar Girls. It is always so endearing to see the connection Katie and the residents share when they are able to see her in a different "role" in life, other than the role of Executive Director, and fun is always had by all. We look forward to future productions at Whidbey Playhouse.
