Over yonder at the tip top of Washington, Harbor Tower Village blooms. We may be a small community, but our residents sure know how to grow them big! Roses taller than the average man, hydrangeas that make you say WOW, and assortments of raised beds and pots that overflow with beauty. Our courtyard is always the place to be in the summertime.
Our residents share watering, tending and weeding tasks, and keep the staff on our feet with their knowledge and direction of how to care for our courtyard. They are the true gardening gurus of Harbor Tower and we are so grateful for all the work and effort they give to allow us such a beautiful living space.
The roses were planted by Elizabeth and daughter Charlotte (pictured in photo with the pink flowers) after Elizabeth moved in, in 2009. Elizabeth just celebrated her 104th birthday with us! She is truly the "rose" of our community.
