We were honored to recently welcome the Milton Police Department to Mill Ridge Village for an engaging and highly informative presentation on scams and fraud prevention. Officer Haddix and his partner did a wonderful job connecting with our residents, sharing real-world examples and practical advice on the many types of scams seniors should be aware of, from phone and email fraud to in-person schemes.
From the moment the presentation began, our residents were fully captivated. The officers’ approachable and knowledgeable style encouraged participation, and many residents asked thoughtful, leading questions that sparked meaningful discussion. These questions allowed the presentation to go even deeper, making the experience even more educational and relevant for everyone in attendance.
We are incredibly grateful to the Milton Police Department for taking the time to visit our community, care for our residents, and provide such invaluable information with patience and kindness. Their dedication to education and community safety truly made an impact.
