Ilauna, our Activity Director at Mill Ridge Village, took the residents in the gardening club to Sternio farms in Puyallup where they helped pick out the hanging baskets for this year. Sterino farms was very helpful and welcoming to our residents! They helped carry and deliver the flowers and baskets to our bus and gave us a great deal on hanging baskets.
The garden club also worked on filling out their pots and planters in the courtyard. We had a great time deciding which baskets were going to hang in the front of the community and which ones were going to hang in the courtyard. This lead to some lively discussion between staff and residents. It’s amazing to see the community come together and spend time conversing and making our courtyard look beautiful.
