Our Thanksgiving event at Riverside was a memorable day! The hot horseradish was everyone’s favorite complement to the prime rib, fresh buttery rolls, green bean casserole, and creamy twice-baked potatoes they were enjoying! To top it off, we had chocolate ganache lava cake and chocolate turtle cheesecake. The dining room was full of lots of laughter, conversation and smiling faces.
In honor of the holiday, we grew a gratitude tree. The residents thoroughly appreciated participating in the exercise of writing down their gratitude on leaves that we then hung on our birch tree. There were comments expressing gratitude for their dogs, their clean apartments, and for their loved ones coming to visit them. It was a great way for us all at Riverside East to appreciate everything we hold dear.
