In the city of Oak Harbor is a community theatre called the Whidbey Playhouse. Many of our residents spent time there enjoying plays put on by local actors, before moving to Harbor Tower Village. Katie Jones, the Executive Director at Harbor Tower Village, decided to try and keep that fun alive when she invited everyone to a special day at the theater.
In September, Katie was cast in the play "Savannah Sipping Society". The Harbor Tower residents and their families took a Sunday to support her, as well as enjoy a day at the Theatre again. They were all able to enter another world for a moment and take the time to enjoy the arts again. It was a great day for all and there are already plans to do it again in the future.
