Our independent living, assisted living, and memory care residents from Village Concepts of Fairwood came together for a special outing to West Seattle’s famous troll, Bruun Idun. Local lore says this whimsical sculpture was designed to sing to the orcas, and it made for a perfect backdrop on a beautiful, sunny day.
Residents of all care levels enjoyed stretching their legs, sharing stories, and taking in the fresh air as they made their way to visit the enchanting troll. Laughter and conversation filled the trail, with many snapping photos and making memories along the way.
Everyone returned with smiles, full hearts, and stories to tell — proof that community and curiosity go hand in hand.
