We adore this story from Village Concepts of Bothell! Jan, a newer resident, recently attended a jazz concert hosted by the community. Jan didn't know if she'd enjoy the style of music, but that soon changed! As Lonnie and his band started playing, Jan's feet started moving. Jan says it was like her feet had taken over and she couldn't help herself! She found herself on the dance floor and was surprised to find she was the only one dancing. Her new passion for jazz music inspired Jan to invite the band to play for her birthday party, where she and her son shared their first mother-son dance. Jan shared this experience has truly opened her up to doing things she has never tried before and she thanks the team at Riverside East for making it possible. 💃🎉🎷 #seniorliving #assistedliving #jazz #jazzmusic

A resident at our Village Concepts of Fairwood community requested a scenic trip to see Jakob Two Trees and an adventure was planned!🌳🧙♂️ Jakob is one of six trolls in our region created by artist Thomas Dambo. This 14 foot tall troll hangs out near the Issaquah Community Center, down the Rainer Trail. All of Dambo's trolls are hand-built and made completely out of recycled materials. The residents had a fantastic time-you can tell by all the big smiles! 😊![]()
