At Brannan Park Retirement, you’ll feel right at home. Just south of Seattle, we have access to the metropolitan city and also nature. We have wonderful staff who can provide the level of care you or your loved one needs. And we recently underwent a complete remodel and redesign to bring even more enjoyment to our residents.
When you step foot in Brannan Park, you’ll notice a warm, comfortable and invigorating atmosphere. We’ve designed our communal spaces to reflect that feeling and encourage interaction and a true sense of community. Residents are able to enjoy communal spaces on all three floors, including a computer lounge; a quiet, cozy lounge for puzzles or reading; a craft activity room; a large library with a piano TV seating for group discussions and performances; a chapel that also serves as a meeting or lecture space; and dining options including a traditional dining room and a bistro where residents can enjoy reading their newspaper and have a grab-and-go option.
In these community spaces, there is a little something for everyone, should they prefer to enjoy quiet activities or mingle with others. Similarly, our memory care area has all open-space dining, living and seating with direct lines of sight so that all residents feel included but can also find a quiet spot to simply observe if they wish.
We’re also proud to provide beautiful newly designed residential units. The floor plans for each unit are very spacious with large windows that allow for more natural light. The finishes are all brand new, neutral in color (to blend nicely with any personal design preferences), and include quality, solid-surface quartz countertop which is quite durable and has a more contemporary appeal. Each unit is meant to feel just like home.
Safety and mobility are always top-of-mind and an important consideration in our design efforts. Each community space was designed with ample room for circulation, meaning residents and guests will never feel crammed and it is easily accessible for individuals with all levels of mobility. And we also offer ADA compliant units that are larger in size and also have an enlarged, mobility-friendly bathroom.
Other safety features we included in the design are upgraded lighting, contrasting colors between the flooring and base boards to prevent bumps or confusion, and color blocking on doors to indicate which are residential or which are staff.
And our exterior design is just as beautiful as our interior design! Enjoy our upgraded exterior with a new, covered portico for more convenient pick-ups and drop-offs regardless of the weather. And because the beauty of the great Pacific Northwest should not be forgotten, we designed attractive landscaping that invites outdoor living such as walks, reading or socializing outside.
