As the summer days transition into fall, the team at Park View Villas wanted to bring a little sunshine to our valued residents. What better way to do that than to have a luau? With a little help from the Olympic Peninsula Ukele Singers, residents gathered in our activity room to share in a musical treat for everyone's enjoyment.
The food for our luau included a Hawaiian themed fruit platter, with a carved watermelon fruit basket! No luau would be complete without a few delicious drinks to enjoy the occasion. We served Piña Coladas because well, everyone loves them! The energy could be felt throughout the building for this exciting experience, celebrating the vibrant Hawaiin culture.
Residents dressed in their best Hawaiian outfits and everyone who attended received a lei. The entire room sang along to classic Hawaiian-themed music enjoyed by all. Thank you to the Olympic Peninsula Ukulele Singers for making this such a fun event!
