The 1950s were a smashing good time for our residents at Park View Villas of Port Angeles. To evoke nostalgia, the staff at Park View Villas hosted a sing-along featuring music from the far-out era. This experience brought out the old dance moves, with residents swaying side to side as they jammed out to the musical hits.
Residents gathered in our community's activity area to celebrate with great people and music, featuring artists like Little Richard and classic songs by Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. This defining era was a time when artists such as Chuck Berry helped establish the foundation for what we now call "rock n roll" music. Since many of our residents spent their teenage years dancing to the musical hits of the time, this was a truly special celebration.
