At Grandview, we have a vibrant, thriving club full of gardeners. They are enjoying every sprout that breaks through. Our community is excited to reap the rewards of their efforts when green beans, peppers, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and sweet peas flourish. We plan to harvest and enjoy a fabulous garden picnic.
Our Executive Director and Nurse, Jenn, is a nurturing leader of the club. It is easy to see Jenn’s passion for the seedlings and the care they require, much the same as the passion she has for the care of the residents. At the first Garden Club planning meeting, Jenn listened thoughtfully to the residents’ ideas and desires for their garden. She rolled up her sleeves and went to work planning and organizing the raised beds and pots.
Watching Jenn effortlessly, and with heart, interact with our gardening club, or playing a daily game with our residents, makes them and staff alike, thankful for Jennifer’s leadership, partnership , and cooperation.
