Grandview residents and staff have been busy preparing for the holiday season. It was fun to see residents come together to create door decorations for their apartments. Some wrote things such as “Faith”, “Family”, and “Blessings”. Barbara, our Administrative Assistant, took it a step further and created the Thankful Tree. Folks have been writing what they are most thankful for on these leaves and placing them on the tree. It is heartwarming to walk by and read all of the messages. Here are a few:
- “I am thankful for my family, and my Grandview family.”
- “Thankful for sight and good health.”
- “A safe place to live and good friends to enjoy.”
- “I am thankful for all the staff for being so kind.”
- “Happy my family is all healthy and turned out great.”
- “I am thankful for friends and family and having a roof over my head and food to eat.”
- “I am thankful for my home here.”
