A foundation rooted in senior care.
The Brown family pioneered the long-term care movement in the northwest in 1975 when Bill Brown launched Centennial Villas, a skilled nursing facility that transitioned into assisted living operations under the name of Village Concepts. Over the generations, the Browns have continued to focus on the development, operations, and management of independent, assisted living, and memory care communities in the Pacific Northwest.
Today, Bill's grandson, Stuart Brown, proudly carries on his grandfather's legacy as the CEO of Village Concepts. He works from the very desk where Bill began this journey, surrounded by artifacts like Bill's pen, desk pad, and news articles dated from those early days, that celebrate Bill's enduring impact on our community.

Our story began in Washington State and we continue to serve seniors and their families in the greater Tacoma and Seattle area. As we've grown, our focus has always been on expanding our services to better meet the needs of our local communities. We believe that nurturing relationships and staying connected to our neighbors is what sets us apart.
