Country Meadow Village residents and staff donated $2,250 to the Open Door Community Kitchen at the assisted living facility’s annual Christmas party. They also donated $500 to the Skagit Valley Herald Christmas Fund.
The funds were raised through the facility’s Holiday Bazaar and Buffet, Community BBQ and Kathy’s Kloset, a revolving rummage sale that staff member Kathy Richter coordinates and organizes.
Country Meadow Village has donated $12,000 to various local organizations over the last 7 years, according to facility news release.
